Shocap AT SXSW 2022

Austin, March 2022 — Shocap Entertainment is heading to SXSW!. Please join us at booth 118 in the XR Experience pavilion in the Fairmont ballroom (click HERE for details) for an early look at “Gloaming” (www.gloaming.space), our multi-site embodied VR experience featuring a live interactive performance by Canadian dancer, Maxine Chadburn, created in collaboration with UK artists Dave Lynch of Immersive Networks, and Leonie Rae Gasson with expert performance capture services by Animatrik Film Design.

The LiViCi Concert Series - An exciting new model for connected entertainment featuring motion-capture performances by world-renowned circus artists, Les 7 Doigts / The 7 Fingers with musical guests, presented onstage before a live theater audience and online as an immersive multiplayer XR experience.

Maamawi: Together through the Fire - an indigenous futurist interpretation of the Anishinaabe Seven Fires prophecies, combining live onstage performance with immersive VR, created in collaboration with Anishinaabe artists, performers, and storytellers.

Press Play! - an expanded and updated version of the 2016 Vancouver Fringe Festival hit, featuring the virtuosic juggling talents of Vancouver’s own Cause & Effect Circus, as real-time motion-capture turns a variety of juggling props into a dizzying array of fantasy objects, scenes and effects.
